The man flying the three kites, Ray Bethell, is in his 80s. He’s Canadian.
He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year.
His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off, and he is deaf — so when he flies, the crowd holds its hands up and waves for applause.
He flies using both hands, and controls the third kite by attaching the control to his waist!
You must watch this to the end to see the amazing landing of the last kite!
I’d have those kites so tangled you could never separate them.
And of course, make the music is wonderful and totally reflects the soaring of the kites.
